>can't go prone even on what seems to be perfectly open ground because the game somehow doesn't want to >no way to order people to cover a sector and operate autonomously, like putting a sniper or a machine gun on overwatch potting targets of opportunity or giving cover fire whilst your assault group gets to grips with the bad guys, meaning every battle turns to micromanaging (at least) two widely separate teams >thanks to this, the best tactic is to get NVGs, suppressed guns and assault at night >can't access the car's boot when in battle even if you're directly next to it, meaning you either carry a gun for every eventuality on you (hopefully they fit in your bergen!) or lump it with your suppressed MP5 in daylight and open terrain because you were heading to make a night-time assault >the JRPG progression of weaponry with WW2 stuff that should by rights be about as common as rocking horse shit appearing before the guns that should be around every tree in Latin America like M16s and AKs >shitty Russian writing >if you use BSM or Hard Life, even more shitty Russian writing with extra shit on top >the aim-at-spot system is finicky and if the enemy is a ball's hair to the side of what the game thinks you're aiming at, sorry! no quick reaction fire >troopers pop to kneeling to change facing if they're prone, exposing their heads to all incoming fire like mongs, always fun trying to adjust your sniper's/gunner's aimīut then again, I have my complaints about JA2 as well. quirks made it nearly fucking impossible. I really, really wanted to like 7.62 but its. Vanilla doesn't have that option but Stracciatella has it

If you are playing 1.13 there used to be an option to make enemies drop their full EQ on death. You should be swimming in cash at that point so just order ammo off the internet. Not some filthy capitalist G3, M14 or FALs. I mean, come-fucking-on, I'm a part of rag tag guerilla made out of peasants, AK and AKMs are a fucking canonical weapons for such settings. In the meantime, I can literally build a fucking second Arulco out of 7.62 NATO and 5.56. It's also almost permanently out of stock in Bobby Ray's store, too.

Problem, when I put t fuckers to sleep and they dropping a loot, their guns are fucking empty or have like 2-3 bullets, so after killing 20+ enemy party, I can collect like half of the mag of that shit. Play vanilla or stracciatella first, then look at 1.13 when you have an idea of what you want to change about the game.Īny tips about ammo finding/managing? I'm controling about 2/3 of a map right now and for whatever reason 7.62mm WP become fucking rarer than a unicorn farts, despite the fact that about half od Deidranna forces send to my sectors are carying AK, SKS or SWDs.

Stracciatella is vanilla with some extra options you can tweak in the game.json file.ġ.13 is a mess of features, some of which are fun and some of which are retarded.
